Train-to-NZEB in Ukraine
In Ukraine, the project activities are lead by Municipal Development Institute (MDI). The Ukrainian Building Knowledge Hub was established at the Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture (KNUCA), where a Memorandum of Understanding has been signed. The trainers were selected from the pool of leading experts in energy efficiency in construction and architecture, including expertise of KNUCA and EE equipment and materials producers (partner companies) who participate in the development of norms and regulations and national building standards. MDI has partnered and mobilized support from EE equipment and materials producers: REHAU (windows, equipment for engineering networks); TechnoNIKOL Corporation (EE heat insulation); Henkel Bautechnik (EE construction materials and equipment, façade systems); Danfoss (engineering networks and EE equipment); Aclima (ventilation and air conditioning systems, alternative energy sources); Vaillant (heating and ventilation systems); URSA (heat insulation and sound proof materials); Wienerberger (ceramic materials and ware, building envelope materials for passive houses); Теchno-Alliance (building materials and aluminium structures for building envelope and translucent systems).
