Train-to-NZEB in Bulgaria

In Bulgaria,  Train-to-NZEB activities are implemented by a team consisting of Center for Energy Efficiency EnEffect (coordinator), Bulgarian Construction Chamber and BSys. Closely following the footsteps of BUILD UP Skills Bulgaria and BUILD UP Skills EnerPro, the team have developed a framework training concept targeting upskilling of building specialists from "Construction"and "Electrical Engineering and Energy Sector" professions and short trainings and demonstrations for non-specialists. An agreement for the establishment of the Building Knowledge Hub is close to finalization, attracting the Professional High School for Transport and Energy "Henry Ford" as hosting institution. A thorough marketing research has identified the major target groups, optimal format and duration of the trainings, and distribution of theoretical and practical contents. The first trainings are expected to start in the autumn of 2016, as by that time, the necessary equipment will be provided. With the support of BUILD UP Skills EnerPro, more than 120 trainers have passed specific training courses, which would be upgraded for the use of the new equipment.
